Roles & Responsibilities for Accounts Payable

Ensure payments are accurate and made on time

Verify invoices and match them with purchase orders

Reconcile account discrepancies and correct errors

Maintain updated records of payments and bills

Communicate with vendors regarding payment issues

Follow company policies for payment processing

Prepare reports for management when needed

Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities

Comply with tax regulations and financial laws

Coordinate with other teams to ensure smooth payment processing
