Haryana CET 2025 Registrations Begin for Group C Posts

The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has officially started the online registration for the Common Eligibility Test (CET) for Group C posts in various government departments. This comes after a gap of three years and is expected to receive a massive response, with over 14 lakh applications anticipated.

Key Dates to Remember

  • Registration End Date: June 12, 2025

  • Last Date for Fee Submission: June 14, 2025

  • Exam Date: To be announced later

What is CET Haryana?

The Common Eligibility Test (CET) is a preliminary screening exam conducted to shortlist candidates for various Group C posts in the Haryana government. After clearing the CET, shortlisted candidates can apply for specific positions as per departmental vacancies.

Expected Applications

  • Group C Posts: ~14 lakh candidates

  • Group D Posts (Upcoming): ~17 lakh candidates

A separate notification will be issued for Group D posts after the Group C registration process concludes.

Available Group C Posts

The Group C vacancies cover a broad range of roles, including:

  • Junior Engineers

  • Clerks

  • Excise and Taxation Inspectors

  • Auditors

  • Assistant Managers

  • Patwaris

  • Male and Female Police Constables

Note: Group D positions (like peon, gardener, helper, etc.) will be announced later.

Document Advisory for Candidates

HSSC Chairman Himmat Singh has advised all applicants to ensure their documents are in order. Special attention must be given to personal details in both:

  • Aadhaar Card

  • Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP)

If there are discrepancies in the name, father’s/mother’s name, or date of birth, it may cause issues during registration or verification.

CET Score Validity and Retakes

  • Validity: 3 years from the date of result declaration

  • Improvement: If a candidate scores higher in a later attempt, the new score's validity period will start from that result date
