NEET-UG 2025 2nd Topper Utkarsh Awadhiya Fulfils His Grandfather’s Dream
Published: June 15, 2025 | Bhopal | By Anand Mohan J

Utkarsh Awadhiya, from Indore (Madhya Pradesh), secured All India Rank 2 in the NEET-UG 2025 exam and fulfilled a dream that spanned three generations in his family.

His grandfather had dreamed of seeing his son become a doctor. Though that dream couldn’t be fulfilled due to circumstances, Utkarsh's father, Alok Awadhiya, a bank manager, carried it forward and passed it on to Utkarsh. “Now my son has fulfilled that dream and made our family proud,” he said.

Key Highlights from Utkarsh’s NEET Journey:

  • Preparation Strategy:

    • Regular practice after learning each topic using objective questions from coaching modules.

    • NCERT-based study was central to his success; he revised NCERT books more than 10 times before exams.

    • Maintained an error analysis notebook to track mistakes and clarify doubts with teachers after every test.

  • Study Routine:

    • Studied 6–7 hours a day after coaching.

    • Took regular 15–20 minute breaks, spending time with family or playing sports like football and volleyball to stay mentally refreshed.

  • Tech Usage:

    • Avoided social media entirely during preparation, using it only once a week.

    • Used AI tools in the final stage of preparation to solve doubts and generate practice questions.

  • Advice for NEET Aspirants:

    • Be consistent, follow teachers' guidance, and never skip NCERT, tests, or classes.

    • Don’t be discouraged by low marks in mock tests — stay focused and keep improving.

    • Limit distractions like social media and maintain a balanced study-life approach.

Utkarsh now plans to pursue MBBS and MD (Medicine) from Delhi and aims to become a successful doctor in the future.
