Key Responsibilities:

Develop community engagement strategies to mobilize communities and increase awareness in key areas such as education, gender-based violence, climate change, and mental health.

Undertake field visits to implement community activities and support the development of technical content for project proposals, reports, and promotional materials.

Engage with communities to identify skills, assets, issues, needs, rights, and responsibilities.

Conduct group meetings and individual home visits to follow up with beneficiaries.

Set improvement goals and address community needs through empowerment and active participation.

Build connections with local groups, agencies, and government bodies, and coordinate meetings and events.

Help organize fairs, exhibitions, and skill/knowledge workshops.

Maintain documentation of beneficiaries’ enterprise details.

Link beneficiaries with social security schemes.

Prepare required reports and documentation and carry out tasks assigned by senior management.

Qualifications:

Strong interest in the development sector, with a focus on public health, climate change, gender issues, and poverty alleviation.

Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Psychology, or a related field.

1-2 years of experience working with communities in the non-profit sector preferred, but freshers may also apply.

Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.

Experience in meeting management and planning community events.

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Office 365.

Ability to manage multiple competing deadlines.
