The SBI Platinum Jubilee Asha Scholarship 2026-27 is an initiative of SBI Foundation for meritorious students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. The scholarship covers students from Class 9 to 12, undergraduate and postgraduate courses, MBBS, IIT, IIM and eligible overseas programmes.
Eligibility
- Indian nationals studying in Classes 9 to 12, UG, PG, MBBS, IIT or IIM programmes can apply.
- Minimum 75% marks or 7.0 CGPA is required.
- SC/ST applicants receive a 10% relaxation in the academic requirement.
- Annual family income must not exceed ?3 lakh for school students and ?6 lakh for other categories.
- Specific institutional ranking requirements apply for UG, PG and medical applicants.
- Overseas study applicants must meet the specified university ranking and admission requirements.
Scholarship Amount
Scholarship support ranges from ?15,000 to ?20,00,000 per academic year, depending on the category and programme.
The scholarship may support eligible educational expenses such as tuition fees, accommodation, books, examination fees and educational equipment.
