The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC), Ranchi has officially released the Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (JHTET) 2026 Notification. Candidates who want to become Primary or Junior Level teachers in Jharkhand government schools can now apply online for the JHTET 2026 examination.

JHTET 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Primary Level (Class 1 to 5)
- 10+2 Intermediate with minimum 50% marks and D.El.Ed / BTC qualification.
- Intermediate with B.El.Ed qualification.
- Graduation with Diploma in Elementary Education.
- Special Education Diploma holders are also eligible.
Junior Level (Class 6 to 8)
- Graduation with D.El.Ed qualification.
- Bachelor Degree with B.Ed qualification.
- B.A.Ed / B.Sc.Ed candidates eligible.
- Master Degree with Integrated B.Ed-M.Ed course eligible.
