ROLE DESCRIPTION:
To work across all aspects of the Cankids NOP National Outreach Programme in HAH and other hospitals as per the requirement in coordination with the team.
Key Result Areas/ Deliverables:
1. Method/procedures undertaken for service improvement
2. Capacity Building- training/workshop/conferences
3. No of cases managed – IPD/OPD
4. No of Chemotherapies administered
5. No of emergencies managed
6. Infection Control measures undertaken
7. Awarenessand shared care for health system strengthening.
Job Description - Duties & Responsibilities:·
The nurse will be posted in the Safdarjang New Delhi and RML Lucknow.·
In the OLD the staff nurse is expected to assist doctors in the patient examination.
She is supposed to do minor wound dressings and assist doctors in major wound dressings. ·
She is expected to be actively involved in patient counseling and delivering information regarding registration process, outpatient investigation procedure, inter/ intra departmental opinions/ references and infection control. ·
She will play an integral role for taking the consent for various surgical procedures,pre & post-surgery advice and counseling of the patients and parents in particular. ·
She is also expected to assist the doctors in minor OT procedures & examinations under anesthesia. ·
She is expected to maintain and update the outpatient register, disease wise for daily,weekly and monthly statistics. ·
She is also expected to do the Chemo for inward and Outward patients.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
GNM or B.Sc in nursing
Candidates should be well versed with the state local language.
