Academic and Professional Qualifications:

Academic Qualifications: Must have passed Class 10th.
Professional Qualifications:
- Certificate or diploma in providing therapeutic or relaxation massages or beauty culture.

Work Experience:

Previous experience as a therapist in a training center, spa, or as a freelancer is required.
A background in science is preferred.
Previous experience working with visually impaired persons is a plus.

Brief About the Program:

The program trains youth with visual impairment to provide relaxation massages and relieve pain through hand movements. This training equips them to work in premium spas, hotels, gyms, and corporates as pain-relieving therapists or to pursue freelancing.

About NAB India Centre for Blind Women & Disability Studies:

The center is dedicated to empowering and rehabilitating blind women in India.
It conducts job mapping studies for the blind and provides training to both educated and uneducated visually impaired women.
The objective is to enable them to gain employment, pursue higher education, and regain their careers after a gap (if any due to late onset of blindness).
The center focuses on creating livelihoods for visually impaired women and men, empowering them with skills for a dignified life and socio-economic independence.

Job Description:

Training Responsibilities:
- Train persons with visual impairment on various types of therapies for pain relief and relaxation according to the prescribed curriculum.
- Educate trainees on client interaction.
- Provide training on grooming and communication protocols for handling clients.
