Kotak Junior Scholarship Program 2024-25 Overview

The Kotak Junior Scholarship Program 2024-25 is an initiative of the Kotak Education Foundation (KEF), the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) implementing agency of the Kotak Mahindra Group. This program aims to provide financial support and additional benefits to deserving students who have completed their 10th grade from SSC/CBSE/ICSE boards within the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR).

Benefits of the Scholarship

Selected students will receive:

Monthly Scholarship: INR 3,500 per month during Class 11 and Class 12, totaling INR 73,500 for 21 months.
Mentorship Support: Guidance throughout their educational journey.
Academic Assistance: Support to help students excel in their studies.
Career Guidance: Assistance in making informed decisions about future prospects.
Exposure Visits: Opportunities to broaden their horizons and enhance learning experiences.

Eligibility Criteria

Have scored over 85% in their Class 10 board examination (SSC/CBSE/ICSE) in 2024.
Have secured admission in Class 11 at junior colleges/schools for Arts, Commerce, or Science streams in MMR for the academic year 2024-25.
Have an annual family income of INR 3,20,000 or below.
Reside within the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR).
Note: Children of employees of Kotak Education Foundation and Buddy4Study are ineligible to apply.

Required Documents

SSC/ICSE/CBSE Marksheet: Mandatory.
Front and Back Page of Yellow/Orange Ration Card: Mandatory. (Submit an income certificate issued by the Government of Maharashtra or Government of India within 30 days of provisional selection).
Recent Passport-size Photograph: Mandatory.
Aadhaar Card: Required for both parents and the student.
Pan Card: At least one earning parent/guardian.
School Leaving Certificate.
Latest IT Return and 26AS: If any family member pays income tax or files an IT return.
Death Certificate: In case of a single parent.
Student’s Bank Account Details: Bank statement or first page of the bank passbook (Mandatory).

Log in to Buddy4Study with your registered ID. If not registered, sign up using your email/mobile number/Gmail account.
You will be redirected to the ‘Kotak Junior Scholarship 2024-25’ application form page.
Click on the ‘Start Application’ button to begin.
Fill in the required details in the online application form.
Upload relevant documents.
Accept the ‘Terms and Conditions’ and click on ‘Preview’.
If all details are correct on the preview screen, click on the ‘Submit’ button to complete the application.
