Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has invited applications for the post of Project Engineer on a Fixed Tenure Appointment basis.
According to the recruitment notification, BHEL is offering 16 Project Engineer vacancies under its Defence and Aerospace Business Group (DABG), Electronics Systems Division (ESD).
This recruitment is particularly suitable for experienced engineers with qualifications in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation or Computer Science and practical experience in control systems, commissioning and related engineering activities.
The engagement will initially be for two years. Eligible candidates can submit the online application from 08 August 2026 to 22 August 2026. After submitting the online form, candidates must also send the required hard-copy documents by post.

Candidates should possess a full-time B.E./B.Tech degree in one of the following disciplines:

The degree must be from a recognized university or institution.
Candidates must have at least 12 months of cumulative post-qualification relevant work experience.

Wiring diagrams
Hook-up drawings
Engineering drawings
Use of testing instruments
Calibrators
Analog and digital multimeters
Candidates should also be comfortable working in engineering and commissioning environments.
Selected candidates may be required to:
Work onboard Naval ships
Work in staggered shifts
Travel to locations across India
Interact with customers
Handle technical responsibilities independently
Support testing and commissioning activities
Good communication skills and the ability to work with customers and engineering teams are also important.
