SSC MTS & Havaldar Recruitment 2025: Apply Online for 1075 Vacancies at ssc.gov.in

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the official notification for the Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff (MTS) and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Recruitment Examination 2025. The notification was published on June 26, 2025, and the online application process is now open. Interested candidates can apply through the official SSC website — ssc.gov.in — before the last date, July 24, 2025 (11:00 PM).

Total Vacancies

Total Vacancies: 1,075
- Havaldar in CBIC and CBN: 1075
- MTS Vacancies: To be notified later

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed Matriculation (Class 10) or equivalent from a recognized board.

Age Limit (as on 01.08.2025)

MTS: 18 to 25 years
Havaldar (CBIC & CBN): 18 to 27 years
Age relaxation applicable as per government rules.

Selection Process

The selection will be based on the following stages:

Computer-Based Examination (CBT)
Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST) – Only for Havaldar posts

The CBT is expected to be held in September–October 2025.

SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen/Women: No Fee
General/OBC/EWS: ?100
Payment to be made via online mode only.
Last date for online fee payment: 25 July 2025 (11:00 PM)

Pay Scale

Pay Level-1 under the 7th Pay Commission Pay Matrix for both MTS and Havaldar positions.
