Position: Operations Manager

About Aasraa Trust:
Aasraa Trust, established in 2009, empowers underprivileged children in Dehradun through education, skills training, healthcare, nutrition, and shelter. Working with over 11,000 children across 80 projects, Aasraa operates government school initiatives, girl education programs, and shelters for vulnerable children.
Purpose of the Role
To oversee and ensure the effective functioning of Aasraa Trust's operational activities while coordinating programs, managing resources, and contributing to strategic plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Coordination:
- Collaborate with program managers for smooth operations of education, vocational, healthcare, and shelter programs.
- Budget & Resource Planning:
- Plan daily activity budgets and resource requirements with project teams.
- Resource Management:
- Manage financial, human, and material resources with support from the finance team.
- Reporting:
- Prepare and share program performance reports with stakeholders.
- Site Visits:
- Ensure quality care and support through regular visits to program locations.
- Infrastructure Maintenance:
- Oversee the upkeep and security of facilities like shelter homes and schools.
- Efficiency Improvements:
- Create and implement plans to improve operational workflows.
- Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
- Partnership Building:
- Collaborate with organizations to amplify Aasraa Trust’s impact.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related fields.
- Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of operational management experience, preferably in the non-profit sector.
- Preferred Knowledge:
- Expertise in budgeting, resource management, and program coordination.

- Strong planning, organizing, problem-solving, and resource management abilities.
- Behavioral Skills:
- Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
