Position: Communication Officer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Social Media Management:

   • Develop and execute a social media strategy for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and the organization's website.
   • Engage with existing volunteers and donors while attracting new ones through effective content.
   • Liaise with stakeholders to gather content and update the website regularly.

2. Internal and External Correspondence:

   • Manage internal communications such as children's reports, case studies, field stories, event-related updates, and meeting minutes (MOMs).
   • Handle external communications, including the annual report, global giving reports, newsletters, and funder reports.
   • Oversee volunteer communication, such as inductions, certificates, and volunteer meets.
   • Design or coordinate the creation of communication materials.

3. Fundraising Support:

   • Identify and apply for relevant awards and grants.
   • Manage donor communication, including sending reports and forms to the donor base.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Graduate/Post-graduate degree in Mass Communication, BA, or an equivalent qualification.
• 1–2 years of work experience in the development sector, media, or related fields.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in English.
• Competency in PowerPoint, Canva, and Adobe.
• Attention to detail is crucial.
