Job Title: Network Support Engineer (Night Shift)

Shift and Schedule: Night shift (8:30 PM IST - 5:30 AM IST)

Reports to: Manager, Service Desk
Position Overview:
As a Network Support Engineer (Jira Admin), you will provide IT expertise to all employees, resolve IT support requests, and ensure customer satisfaction and continuous service improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to end-user issues via video conferencing, telephone, chat, or IT Service Desk tickets.
- Provide on-site and remote installation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair for hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Monitor the Jira Service Desk ticket queue, ensuring timely handling of service requests and incidents, meeting established metrics and SLAs.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and repair various computer problems related to hardware and software.
- Provide technical guidance and training to end-users.
- Ensure the deployment, management, and support of computers, peripherals, and mobile devices.
- Maintain a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Provide input and assist in testing and selecting future technologies and devices.
- Act as a point person for other IT Service Desk team members, offering direction, mentoring, and support.
- Assist with short and long-term projects as assigned.
- Develop and maintain documentation of systems, services, and processes.
- Fully support, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot remote and on-premises IT systems.
- Train team members and ensure their knowledge aligns with policies.
- Work with Network Security Analysts to ensure the security and integrity of computer operating systems.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in an IT support environment.
- Advanced hardware troubleshooting skills.
- Strong skills in Office 365, Windows, and Mac operating systems.
- Administration skills in SharePoint & OneDrive.
- Proficiency in Jira Service Management (Service Desk/Ticketing system/Metrics/Reporting/Dashboard).
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Certifications:
- CompTIA A+ Certification
- CompTIA Security+ Certification
- ITIL4 Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management
- Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician
- Microsoft MCSA
