Purpose
The Fulbright Program aims to increase mutual understanding between people of different nations through educational and cultural exchange. It provides grants for students, scholars, and professionals to study, research, and teach in countries other than their own.
Types of Fulbright Grants
- Fulbright U.S. Student Program: Supports recent graduates, young professionals, and artists to study, conduct research, or teach English abroad.

Eligibility
- Fulbright U.S. Student Program: U.S. citizens with a bachelor's degree or equivalent, or those who are in their final year of undergraduate study.
- Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program: U.S. citizens or permanent residents with a Ph.D. or equivalent professional experience.
- Fulbright Foreign Student Program: International students who are pursuing advanced degrees in their home countries.
- Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program: Non-U.S. scholars with a Ph.D. or equivalent.
- Fulbright Teacher Exchange Program: K-12 teachers, administrators, and education professionals.
Application Process
