About WASSAN:
WASSAN (Watershed Support Services and Activities Network), Hyderabad is a network-based organization focusing on improving the quality of mainstream programs in natural resources management and livelihoods. WASSAN has contributed substantially to development of watershed and natural farming policies in various states and at the Government of India. WASSAN is also working with various partners in different states as part of the RRA Network (Revitalising Rainfed Area Network) and NCNF Network (National Coalition for Natural Farming).
About Programme:
Enabling Natural Farming Transition in Tribal Landscapes of Odisha is a programme initiated by ST SC & MBC Welfare Department. Odisha Tribal Development Society (OTDS) is the nodal agency and WASSAN is selected as the Programme Management Unit (PMU). The programme aims to transform farming landscapes into natural farming with integrated livestock and other production systems through 13500 Women Self Help Groups.
Job Description:
• Coordinate and train the NGOs on the financial compliances and norms.
• Coordinate and manage data for the project at district level
• Support district team in the data management (both program and finance).
• Manage accounts related work of project at district level
• Verify the NGOs processes involved in the project.
• Prepare Monthly Project Report /Quarterly Project Report/Annual Project Reports
Desired Candidate Profile:
• Bachelor's / Master's degree from reputed National / International Institution / University, with minimum 2 years of experience working with Central and State Government agencies.
• Experience of handling audits of projects, preparing balance sheets, so on so forth.
• Experience in data management for the project.
• Report writing skills in English and Odia.
• Computer skills in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PPT, Google Spreadsheet etc.
• Not have any complaints against him by Government, Civil Society, Community organizations or Private agencies.
• Experience in similar development programmes will be preferred.
Compensation:
Rs. 18000 - 25000 per month based on experience remuneration excluding TA/DA during field visits.
