Bihar STET 2026 – Apply Online | Eligibility, Fee & Exam Details
The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released the Bihar Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2026 notification. Eligible candidates can apply online for Paper I (Secondary) and/or Paper II (Senior Secondary).
The online application process started on 17 August 2026, and the last date to apply and pay the examination fee is 31 August 2026.

The examination fee can be paid online through Debit Card, Credit Card or Net Banking.
Age Limit
Age will be calculated as on 1 August 2026.
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age – Male: 37 years
- Maximum Age – Female: 42 years
Applicable age relaxation will be provided according to Bihar STET rules.
Educational Qualification
Paper I – Secondary Level
Candidates may qualify through one of the prescribed routes, including:
- Bachelor's Degree in the relevant subject with 50% marks + B.Ed.
- Master's Degree in the relevant subject + B.Ed.
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree with 45% marks as per NCTE norms + B.Ed.
- 4-year BA B.Ed. / B.Sc. B.Ed. qualification.
Paper II – Senior Secondary Level
Candidates may qualify through:
- Master's Degree in the relevant subject with 50% marks + B.Ed./BA B.Ed./B.Sc. B.Ed.
- Master's Degree with 45% marks as per NCTE norms + B.Ed.
- Master's Degree with 55% marks + 3-year B.Ed.-M.Ed. course.
