New Chandigarh: The IPL 2025 Eliminator saw Mumbai Indians knock out Gujarat Titans with a 20-run win to set up a Qualifier 2 clash against Punjab Kings in Ahmedabad on June 1. While Rohit Sharma's explosive 81 off 50 balls powered MI to 228/5 – the second-highest total in IPL playoffs history – Gujarat's Sai Sudharsan put up a valiant fight with an 80-run knock.
Rohit Sharma’s innings set new milestones – he became only the second player to reach both 300 sixes and 7000 IPL runs, and also recorded MI’s highest individual score in playoff history.
With the match done, the Orange and Purple Cap races saw key updates.
