details

SBI Youth for India Fellowship information in point form:

  • Eligibility:
    • Indian citizen, or a citizen of Nepal/Bhutan, or an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI).
    • Between 21 and 32 years of age on the day of commencement of the program.
    • Have completed at least a Bachelor Degree.
  • Duration:
    • 12 months, starting in August every year.
  • Location:
    • Fellows are placed in rural areas across India.
  • Fellowship Support:
    • Monthly allowance of INR 15,000.
    • INR 1000 per month for transport expenses.
    • INR 1000 per month for project related expenses.
    • Readjustment allowance of INR 60,000 upon successful completion of the fellowship.
    • 3AC train fare from your residence to the project site location.
    • Expenses incurred on travelling for training programmes.
    • Health and personal accident insurance policy.

    • The application process opens in January every year.
    • The application deadline is in March every year.
    • The selection process includes an online application, a written test, an interview, and a group discussion.
